Arvind Gidwani
Mr. Gidwani brings nearly 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry, specifically in the infrastructure areas including Cloud Computing, storage, networking, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, security and data center design, database architecture, data warehousing and ERP applications among others. In his nearly two-decade career, he has held Senior IT management and system architect positions at Drivecam Inc., Qualcomm, Cisco Systems and Applied Materials Inc. Most recently he co-founded Stratoform Technologies where he worked with leading enterprise customers on IT strategy and the enabling of Cloud Computing for the Oracle E-Business Suite. Mr. Gidwani also serves on the advisory boards of several start-up companies in the hi-tech arena.
Mr. Gidwani spent six years at QUALCOMM where he served as a Chief IT Architect, implementing several technology products in the storage, enterprise security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery areas and business applications for QUALCOMM's chip division.
Prior to QUALCOMM, Mr. Gidwani held several technical positions at Cisco Systems managing Enterprise Applications and e-Commerce applications. Prior to Cisco he was at Applied Materials, Amdahl and Oracle in senior technical and managerial roles.
Mr. Gidwani received his education in India at Walchand Institute of Technology, and has a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. Mr. Gidwani has one patent approved in the area of secure e-commerce transactions and has several others pending.
